Instep Business Solutions (IBS) is looking to recruit Sales and Marketing Professionals for its clients operations in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Position Overview: The role will ensure brand visibility of products and achievement of substantial market share in the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s sales and marketing strategies;


• Responsible for business development and expansion;


• Oversee all sales and marketing activities including order confirmation and payments;


• Provide guidance for account management;


• Monitor sales and market share and implement strategies to counter downturns;


• Conduct and analyze research data and their implications to the company;


• Advise on appropriate products and pricing for the market;


• Evaluate agency and dealer/channel activations;


• Lead in sales marketing analysis and develop corrective actions;


• Responsible for Relationship Management;


• Manage sell in and sell out processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a business related field;


• At least 5 years working experience in a similar role, with working knowledge of / experience in the GSM industry;


• Commercial awareness and ability to identify market opportunities;


• Thorough geographical knowledge of Dar es Salaam and environs;


• Familiarity with current economic and political issues in the country;


• Excellent planning and organization skills;


• Ability to interact and work with distributors and clients at different levels, and establish & maintain relationships.
