Our client, a reliable insurance agency seeks to recruit an Underwriter (Preferably ladies), who are self-starters with good delivery of services to clients.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assessing background information on the client


• Studying insurance proposals


• Calculating the risk


• Deciding how much should be paid out to clients.


• Liaising with professionals and specialists to help judge risk assessment


• Selecting appropriate and competitive premiums based on information and judgment


• Writing policies and adding specific conditions when required


• Deciding whether the risk should be shared with a re-insurer


• Negotiating terms

Skills and Qualification

• A Degree or Diploma holder in Insurance


• Must have 3years of experience as an Underwriter.


• Must have an Insurance Certificate.


• Should be very dynamic with diverse marketing experience.


• Must be able to sign a Service Agreement and Performance Agreement.


• Should be an all-round Underwriter with good Customer Care skills.


• Computer literate with MS Office suite.


• Preferably living in Eastlands.
