Employee Writes An Angry Note To Boss. “I Went Home. Fire Me If You Must…..”

Have you ever had an episode whereby your boss annoyed you so much that you just wanted to curse, swear and bang the door and leave? Yes, our bosses are human like us; they are not perfect as we expect them to be. We only tend to see them as better people just because they are our bosses.

Irene Machira who works for an event organizing company in Mombasa says this describes her situation perfectly.

“My boss is the most indecisive person I know, one time he asked that we get floral decorations for our reception and he gave the exact type of flowers he wanted to be brought in. It’s only after we had ordered the flowers when he said they were not as impressive as he thought they would be.”

Cases of bosses irking their employees exist and here is a case of Joe an employee in Michigan whose boss was supposed to relieve him for a shift at a gas station. The employer over slept and never made it on time. To make matters worse she did not call to let the employee know that she was running late.

Well the very angry Joe tore a piece of his note book and wrote a note which made it known to his employer that he was pissed off and that her behavior was unacceptable.

Joe went a step further and stuck the note on the glass window of the premises where the boss would spot it and for all passersby to see.

In his angry note he dared his employer to fire him.

The note read as follows “Hey boss, learn to be on time or at least communicate when you are going to be late. +1 hour with no phone call is unacceptable.”

The note continued to say that, “As you can see, the doors are locked. I went home. Fire me if you must, but realize I walked out due to YOUR negligence.”

As if that was not enough, Joe also posted a ‘help wanted sign’ behind the note to possibly help his boss hire for the open position he had just created.

In her defense, the boss said she was running late because she did not hear the alarm go off. She also felt that her employee should have tried calling his colleagues to cover her shift as opposed to embarrassing her with such a note.
