Salary: Kshs 35,000 – 40,000 gross

Our client is one of the leading and most respected Security Solutions providers for a wide host of clients in the diverse industries in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. They seek to hire a qualified Draughtsman to design and produce drawings of security points; illustrate systems from specifications, source control drawings, sketch, model, prototype or verbal instructions.

Electrical AutoCAD DrafterJob Responsibilities

• Work directly with technical staff, sales staff and customers to produce drawings and bills of material from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with written and verbal descriptions.
• Work closely with Sales and installation team to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
• Utilizes drafting resources to create new tools to more efficiently carry out above mentioned tasks; includes hardware and software design.
• Work from customer drawings, company drawings, vendor drawings or specifications. Use corporate drawing standards as guidelines.
• Helping in attending the Site meeting of complex projects for better understanding of client requirements.
• Helping in survey for bigger projects so as to have clear understanding while drafting the drawing and designing the solution.
• Maintain all the drawing records date wise with revision numbers and the person requested for the changes in the drawing for sales and installation team.

Skills for Electrical AutoCAD Drafter Jobs in Kenya

• Degree in electrical engineering or drafting design or equivalent experience required.
• 1-3 years drafting experience preferred.
• Excellent command of AutoCAD and/or ArchiCAD
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Maintains professional standards in their work
• Keen on targets
• Working knowledge of ISO and OSHA procedures
