Tracking Services Manager – Kenya
Security Group Africa is a security services provider and major employer in the East African region.
As part of our extensive services portfolio we service large assets in motion security services using GIS/AVL technology on diverse platforms.
With the growth being experienced in this area, we are seeking to recruit a dynamic professional for the above position.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the commercial, technical and operational aspects of the SGA tracking business in Kenya.
- Client interaction, development of SLA’s and response mechanisms and their management.
- Selection, development and motivation of the departmental team.
- Provision of technical direction inter alia in areas of equipment selection, maintenance and problem diagnosis.
- Operational management of the National response control room.
- Implementation and appropriate revision of departmental Quality Management System.
Core competencies and attributes
- Minimum Degree in Electronic/Electrical or Computer Engineering from a recognized University.
- Applicants with degrees in other diverse fields but with extensive relevant industry experience may be considered.
- Must have excellent computer competencies.
- Good working knowledge of all MS Office packages is mandatory and shall be practically assessed at the interview stage.
- Must have firsthand experience in typical industry software packages.
- Those with data base experience and knowledge of GIS technology shall have an advantage.
- Must be articulate, presentable and have the capacity to effectively represent the company at the highest corporate levels.
- Must be numerate and this capacity shall be practically assessed at the interview stage.
- Excellent written and spoken English and coherent presentation skills is mandatory.
- Must be a self starter and team leader with adequate industry experience and well established networks.
