Vacancy: Head Of Commercial

Our Client is a fast growing training company with innovative and unique high end financial training products. They are seeking vibrant and motivated individual to fill in the following position: Head Of Commercial

The Head of Commercial will be required to forecast sales volumes, profit margins, and net profit and achieve clearly defined, mutually agreed upon revenue/gross profit targets for the organization.

Principal Accountabilities

• Establishing and implementing short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures


• Maintaining and developing a computerized customer and prospect database.


• Growing product sales for the Company’s financial training products and hit high volume targets in 18 months


• Managing and meeting marketing expense budgets


• Developing and continuously evaluating/adjusting promotional and advertising activities


• Delivering innovative business models, branding, and marketing approaches


• Carrying out market research, competitor and customer surveys.


• Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.


• Planning and coordinating public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.


• Directly managing major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.


• Participating in the development of new project proposals.


• Supervising the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business or other relevant discipline


• 5 years and above working experience in sales of corporate product.


• Extremely comfortable dealing at senior levels.


• Must bring strong negotiating skills and ability to close.


• Excellent communications skills:


• Must have experience crafting and presenting effective proposals, and bring strong demonstrations skills


• Responsible and resourceful manager who operates effectively without supervision from Nairobi Headquarters.

This position requires travel.
