Job Position: Machine Operator
Type of Machine: Universal Packaging Machine & ICA Packaging Machine
Reporting To: Production Manager
Employment Terms: Permanent
Location: Nairobi Kenya
Key Responsibilities:
- Run the machine in safe, timely and efficient manner in accordance to food safety procedures throughout the operations to meet FSSC 22000 standards.
- Ensure optimum utilization of the machine with set ups and change overs taking shortest time possible.
- Monitor machine to ensure product being applied is of right recipe and according to specifications within tolerance making any adjustments in process.
- Keeping production, productivity/efficiency records and maintaining lubrication and cleaning schedules.
Skills & Specifications:
- Proven ability to meet steep deadlines
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication & management skills
- Good team player
Education & Professional Specification:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- At least minimum 2 years experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office programs & Internet
