Human Resource Jobs in Kenya
YETU Sacco, a market leader in the Sacco movement with branches in Meru and Nairobi Counties, seeks to fill a newly created position of the Human Resources Officer .
The position reports to the Sacco Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key functions of the SACCO and its affiliates;
Setting of the HR function including the HR policies and procedure and aligning the same with the strategy of the Yetu Sacco.
Coordination of the recruitment activities – sourcing, placement, performance management and separation
Initiate and implement Staff welfare activities.
Development and operation of a scheme of disciplinary, employee and industrial relations system in the Sacco.
Design and implement training modules for the Yetu Sacco, that are in tandem with the current social economic development of the counties and the country
General administration of the Sacco activities to ensure compliance with all labour laws and the country’s legal requirements
Salary administration to ensure compliance with the market and retention of competitive staff.
Responsible for coming up and maintaining a up to date record keeping system to ensure confidentiality and comprehensive data capture.
General HR activities as discussed and agreed with the Sacco Management
The successful candidates should have the following attributes;
Be a university graduate with qualification in HR or social sciences
Creative, able to work with minimal supervision.
Be Holder of a Higher Diploma in HR from the IHRM or any reputable institution
Must be computer literate and with knowledge of the computerized HR systems
Within age bracket of 35 to 45 years.
Experience in banking and Sacco sectors is an added advantage
