We all expect lawyers to know the law and follow it religious. However, Kenyan lawyers seem to be doing the complete opposite.
Yesterday we wrote about the Kisumu Town West Mp, Olago Aluoch who was struck off the advocates list for stealing from a widow. Today we have Dishon Murungi a city lawyer who is being charged with defrauding a man of Sh. 11 Million by pretending to be selling him fake land.
Murungi is being charged with obtaining money in false pretence but don’t they all do so. Lawyers are known to lie so as to get their clients out of trouble, a polite way of acquiring money.
This lying culture is now catching up with the lawyers in real life. At this rate it will be hard for lawyers to make it to heaven.
