We are seeking to recruit performance driven professionals for the following position as advertised in the Daily Nation on 01/08/2014:- Territory Manager
The job holder will be responsible for the management and supervision of the allocated territory.
Reporting to the Network Regional Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible for the following:-
- Oversee the operation of the retail stations so as to deliver sales objectives for the allocated territory,
- Guide station dealers in improving their economic and commercial performances
- Analyze the assigned territory to determine changing trends in customer needs, volume potential, competition and develop necessary proposals
- Ensuring provision of quality services and maintaining high standards of Hygiene/Environment/Safety of property and of persons.
- Retaining and developing the Fuel Card portfolio clients.
- Proposing and implementing actions plans required for optimizing results
- Conducting management controls for stations
Qualifications, competencies and experience
- Bachelors Degree in business studies with a penchant for marketing
- Intellectually curious and a self starter
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, organizational and public relations skills
- Ability to prioritize, autonomy, firm approach & customer-oriented mindset
- Creative thinker and ability to lead a team
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years working experience in territory management in a commercial environment with a proven track record of success
- Valid Driving License as the job will involve regular field travel
