CMC Motors Service Manager Job Description
Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the provision of efficient and cost effective service of motor vehicles that will result in increased divisional/branch productivity and ensure clients get value for their money.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the daily activities in the workshop.
- Identify the practical and innovative working practices in use in workshop.
- Ensure effective & regular appraisal of employees training & development needs. Opportunities for training & development of staff, in view of current & anticipated business needs are created and supported to build the business.
- The jobholder will be responsible for maintaining operating standards with his/her direct report workshops and highlight any challenges for action.
- Ensure that all customer queries are addressed and related problems are resolved within acceptable timelines to customers’ satisfaction
- Follow up on available spare parts in regard to heavy plant equipments.
- The job holder continually reviews business processes and uses SAP functionality and identify areas where increased efficiencies and improvements to CSI can be achieved.
Minimum Qualifications for Service Manager Jobs in Kenya
- University degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution.
- At least 8 years’ demonstrable experience in automotive/heavy machinery.
- A Results oriented and hands on approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas and positions clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and develop relationships.
- Demonstrable analytical , and Leadership skills, decisiveness and business acumen.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines.
