Dear IHRM Member,
Further to the establishment of the Registration Committee under the HRP Act and the publication of criteria for issuing Practicing Certificates in the Kenya Gazette Notice No. 278 dated 17th January 2017, we request those who meet the criteria to apply for their HR Practicing Certificate using the Application Form accompanied with Application Fee of Sh. 2,000/=.
Upon receiving your Application Form, the Registration Committee will evaluate the same using the criteria below to either approve or reject the application.
Successful applicants will be advised to pay an annual Practicing Certificate Fee of Sh. 10,000/=.
After making the payments the applicants shall receive a one year Practicing Certificate from the date of its issue.
CRITERIA FOR ISSUING PRACTICING CERTIFICATES
1.A person seeking to obtain or renew a Practicing Certificate must be a fully paid up Fellow or Member of Institute of Human Resource Management who is the Head of the Human Resource function of an organization or Head of a sub-function of the Human Resource function or Partner/Principal Shareholder of a registered human resource firm or performing human resource management duties and responsibilities of an organization.
2.Attainment of Minimum CPD Credit Points:- The person must have also attained the minimum Institute of Human Resource Management Continuing Professional Development Credit Points of the year preceding the application for a practicing certificate.
