The Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Ltd (KETRACO), a state corporation wholly owned by the government is currently constructing a total of over 2000km of electricity transmission Lines of 500kV, 400kV, 220 kV and 132kV and the associated substations.
The company wishes to recruit qualified personnel to fill the vacant positions listed below.

Division: Power System Planning and development
Job Reference : KETRACO/5/1C/40/73 – B
The Company is looking for fresh Trainee Graduate Engineers who are eager to develop a challenging but rewarding career. The selected candidates will be expected to go through a one (1) year training programme.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Option);
- The applicants should have graduated from recognized University within the last two years with minimum of 2nd Class honours upper division;
- The Candidate should have attained minimum K.S.C.E grade B+; and
Qualified persons of Female gender are encouraged to apply.
Interested candidates who fully meet the above criteria and are self-motivated, results oriented, team players of high level of integrity and with good computer operation skills, should send their applications together with their Curriculum Vitae and attach copies of all certificates and testimonials including details of their day time contacts
