Our client, a reputable company that processes the Moringa plant into its final products is currently recruiting for the following position:
Coconut Oil Project Manager
The candidate must be from COASTAL REGION.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare budgets, work plan, project design and scheduling for the project’s activities
- Ensure program implementation is executed as per approved project documents
- Establish a stable and steady supply of good quality coconuts and other raw materials at cost effective prices.
- Oversee the production process and storage of all coconut oil products produced by the company.
- Establish an innovative research-for-development program focused on diversification of Coconut Oil products.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted Compliance with various standards and that all tasks in the farm are performed to the required standards
- Oversee labour planning and allocation ensuring sufficient and effective utilization of manpower
- Ensure that appropriate monitoring data are collected to record project progress.
- Organize and attend trade fairs and exhibitions with a view of diversification and innovation of new products.
- Facilitate and encourage open communication in the team, communicates effectively;Share knowledge and encourage the learning of others.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, processing or related field with work experience in production/ project management
- Extensive knowledge of coconut and coconut oil production will be an added advantage.
- Strong drafting, editing, reporting and presentation skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Demonstrates / Safeguards Ethics and Integrity.
- Good corporate knowledge and sound judgment.
- Team player.
- Self-driven
- Passionate
- Socially-minded
