An interesting opinion piece written by Levi Cheruo states that after a majority of youths realize that no jobs are forthcoming,many of them find consolation in the social media.
“After a torturous trot in job seeking avenue, such characters are hard hit by reality. They become distraught, bitter and bound to lose hope,” he writes…..Their work is to update their status, send many friend requests to would be mates and chat with every available buddy online”
He advices that instead of using this time doing nothing on the internet they should embracing blogging and embrace the rise of the internet.
And what is his solution to unemployment? Make some money through blogging! “Bloggers are making driving expensive limousines generated by traffic and ads via Adsense.”
He adds that, “Writers contribute articles online to digital news sites at a fee. Broke campus students have joined thousands of other worldwide in writing academic papers to paying academic writing sites.”
Mr. Cheruo notes that most job seekers do not know the value of time they waste on unimportant posts and updates
He advise that, “Rather than misuse the only assets they have, Facebook and Twitter lovers should consider learning the ropes and have the knowledge on how to find value on Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engines so as to hit the jackpot.”
Fresh graduates you have been advised don’t just sit around doing nothing while you have internet at your disposal.
