Operations Manager – Horticulture
Our Client, a leading Flower Farm is looking for an Operation Manager to head their operations in Kenya. He/she MUST have relevant international experience outside Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing sourcing requirements for all clients as required.
- Regular liaison and visits to growers.
- Servicing / supply chain for all clients from a Kenyan perspective aiming for 100% service level.
- Pricing for growers.
- General management of main office in Nairobi and the airport.
- Improving all systems i.e. ordering, receiving and dispatch.
- Development of new clients where necessary.
- Monitoring costs within the business to keep them within budget.
- Packaging development and requirements.
- Accounts analysis and management.
- Budgets annually.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelors degree in Agriculture or related field
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in senior management.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years working experience in the horticultural sector.
- Independent, reliable and enthusiastic.
- Goals and results oriented.
Monthly gross salary:Competitive Remuneration depending on experience
