Our client is one of the leading companies in Kenya that specializes in the manufacturing of personal care, tissues and hygiene products. They are market leaders across numerous product categories and have established themselves as one of the strongest consumer household brands in East Africa. They seek to hire Regional Sales Representatives to manage sales in designated regions.
Job Purpose:- 
The incumbent will be responsible for generating new customer lead, sale company products, and achieve target goals while managing the product distribution channels. A strong desire to succeed is essential for the job holder. Previous successful track record within a sales and or Account Management role would be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities:-
- Maximize on profitability by ensuring high volume sales, product visibility and market penetration
 - Prepare and plan to convert every call into sales within the assigned region
 - Monitor and ensure effective product distribution within the region
 - Work closely with distribution partners, provide market intelligence and leads to support the common objective.
 - Plan and implement product promotions and awareness initiatives as a way of achieving sales volumes.
 - Campion product visibility and awareness within the region
 - Present the portfolio of the company products to wholesalers, minimarkets, key accounts and redistributors
 - Develop personal direct pipeline via cold calling, partners and referral contacts
 - Initiate and develop relationships with clients to win business
 - Manage appointment and ensuring high levels of customer service during the client acquisition period and after.
 - Provide effective customer service
 - Follow up on any client queries and distributions cycle
 - Oversee all administrative procedures and tasks, including updating Sales Team on a daily basis
 - Work effectively with the other sales teams across the company and regional partners and support sales raids where appropriate
 - Maintain a good working relationships with internal and external customers
 - Be familiar with and adhere to company policies and procedures
 - Adhere to personal and operational standards and performance
 - In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned to them by their line manager / senior manager from time to time.
 
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of a Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or any business related course
 - Should have a minimum of 3 years experience I Sales and Marketing preferably in FMCG Industry.
 - Should have knowledge of selling through distribution and region management
 - Have good communication and presentation skills
 - Have knowledge of market intelligence gathering
 - Strong sales skills with high levels of persuasion
 - Have good reporting skills
 - Energetic and self driven individual.
 - Good knowledge of Computer application especially in MS Word, Excel and Power point
