Assistant Engineer – Plant
Ref: HRD/ AEP/01/15
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful applicant will lead the plant and civil works team in the following amongst others:-
- Ensuring buildings, plant, machinery and equipment are maintained to optimum levels of serviceability at all times.
- Designing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- Facilitating corrective repairs and maintenance.
- Participating in the implementation of construction projects.
- Tracking equipment usage in various departments.
- Inventory management for all equipment and repair parts.
- Facilitating energy management and operational cost control programs
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Higher National Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years experience
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Good interpersonal and customer relations skills.
- Computer literate.
