“When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal.” Napoleon Hill
Is your life a series of struggles and no matter what you do, you can’t seem to get ahead? Unfortunately, many of us feel that way at some point.
You might have made plans about your career: go to school, get a good job and be the most successful professional in your field but this is not happening. You have good academic qualifications but no employer wants to hire you.
You have to admit defeat; that you are not the best candidate as you perceived yourself to be. This will allow you to acknowledge your vulnerability to yourself and in front of others and thus you will strive to be better.
So how do you rebuild your plans?
First appreciate and be thankful for the good things you already have, such as a degree/ diploma.
Next, write down your goals along with a plan to achieve them . This can include having a mentor to guide you or expanding your networks. Find out their secrets, perspectives, and their motivation in life.
Decide the large and small stresses in your life . Is the fear that you won’t succeed or that others will think less of you stopping you from taking steps towards what you want in life?
Make a strong effort to accomplish your goals regardless of your fears. Facing your fears will make you feel empowered and more capable of achieving your goals.
Leave regret behind and surround yourself with positive people
