Community Manager Job Responsibilities



  • Customer Support:

  • Requires strong interpersonal skills. This person will be responsible for managing all customer concerns and leading our strategy on Customer Experience.

  • Manage delivery requests processed over the phone in real-time.

  • Tame upset customers and convert them to passionate brand ambassadors.

  • Work closely with our Community Manager, Operations and Product Development teams to identify customer demands and pain points.

  • Work side-by-side with our Community Manager to ensure all deliveries are handled with excellent customer experience.

  • Report weekly to team on delivery metrics, customer demands, and sales trends.

  • Be independent on Saturdays holding down the fort.

  • Marketing & Social Media: Requires marketing experience, creative thinking, excellent execution skills, and a social personality.

  • Assist in developing key brand and event partnerships.

  • Work side-by-side with Community and Marketing Manager to storyboard and execute creative marketing campaigns and new user promotions.

  • Identify and engage with community and brand advocates.

  • Strategize and execute an active and engaging social media plan across multiple platforms: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.


Qualifications for Community Manager Jobs in Kenya



  • Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Economics preferred.

  • 2+ years experience in marketing, brand management, public relations, or customer care.

  • Active online presence and familiarity with social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, WordPress, Instagram).

  • Customer support background a plus.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Influencer amongst your friends and community. Ability to get shit done, with quality and speed.

  • Expert multi-tasker. Great with long to-do lists full of micro-tasks.

  • Flexible working Schedule and ability to hold down the fort on Saturdays
