Sales Officer – Homecare Products
Our Client distributes tape and adhesives, electronic connectors and devices, surgical and medical supplies and consumer products.
Altima is seeking to recruit for our client a self driven individual to the position of Sales Officer in its Homecare Products Department.
The Position
The position holder will be responsible for:
- Promoting, Selling and securing orders from existing and prospective client portfolio;
- Establishing, Developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in assigned market segment;
- Research sources and information for prospective customer development;
- Resolving customer problems and complaints;
- Coordinating sales activities with marketing, supply chain and finance functions;
- Creating and managing customer value plan for existing customer highlighting their profile, share and opportunity ;
- Keeping abreast of product knowledge, market conditions, competition activities and Trends;
The Ideal candidate should:
- Hold a University Degree in sales and marketing or a related field;
- Have at least 4-5years experience in Consumer Business Sales;
- Good understanding of retail/supermarket trade margins, marketing initiatives, programs and trade discounts;
- Result-oriented and able to work independently;
- Team player
- Possession of own vehicle a must;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Medical clearance is required;
