Driving Jobs in Uganda
Instep Business Solutions (IBS) is looking to recruit a Driver for its client, a leading professional cleaning and allied services company.
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Position Overview: Reporting to the Human Resources Officer, the position will operate the company’s assigned vehicle ensuring safe transportation of goods and clients to and from various destinations.
Responsibilities
- Undertake daily and special office requests by picking up and delivering items as directed and running errands;
- Pick and drop crew to and from various destinations as directed;
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records as required;
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle as required including oiling, temperature and water checks;
- Ensure timely servicing of vehicle based on service schedule;
- Ensure clean vehicle, consistent supply of vehicle requirements including spare wheel, tool box, hazard triangle;
- Ensure timely renewal of licenses and insurance.
Requirements
- High school certificate
- Valid driving license free of any endorsement (Class BCE)
- At least 3 years working experience as a Driver
- Possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct
- Good communication skills
- Possess high integrity
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Result driven and self-motivated
Remuneration
