Our Client is an institution of higher learning currently recruiting an examinations officer.
The candidate will be responsible for managing all administrative and logistical aspects of exams administration.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the source for advice and information regarding all matters relating to examination administration.
- Be familiar with exam regulations as updated and published in the Examination Regulations.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with subject leaders (specifications and cohort details), site management (exam hall bookings), (access arrangement requirements).
- Make all necessary arrangements for candidates who are enrolled at all centres to take examinations.
- Produce exams’ timetable for all candidates, ensuring that there are no clashes for individual students.
- Receive and store exam papers securely, in accordance with Examination Regulations. Ensure there are sufficient papers and stationery for Examiners.
- Collect and securely store completed exam scripts. Arrange scripts for re-marking in accordance with awarding Exam Policy.
- Organize the booking ad setting-up of suitable locations for examinations’ marking center.
- To coordinate and assist in preparation of Examinations’ sitting; from dispatch of exam papers, exam booklets to receiving of scripts from exam centers in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the delivery of the operational/departmental plans.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of a degree in Business Administration;A Diploma in Business Management will be an added advantage;
- At least 3 years relevant work experience in a training, consultancy services or knowledge based environment;
