The Kilifi County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following vacant positions as per SECTIONS 45,50,51,58, and 63 of the County Government Act of 2012.
Clinical Officer (Anaesthetist)
JG “H,J,K,L”6 Posts
The officer will work under the guidance of Anesthesiologists.
Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties will include the following among others.
Giving Anesthetist to patients due to undergo surgery in a theater
Attending to Emergency cases in the High dependent and intensive care units.
Attending to resuscitation of critical emergency cases
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen
Be a holder a Kenya certificate of secondary education (KCSE) mean grade C- and above
Be a holder of a Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery and a higher diploma in Anaesthesia from a recognized medical training college
Have a valid registration with the Clinical Officer’s Council
Have valid registration license
Have a minimum of 1 year’s post graduate experience
Computer Literate
Must have served at least three years in the grade of clinical officer III
Satisfies the requirements of Chapter Six of the Kenya Constitution 2010
Terms: permanent
