Removal Manager
Our client is urgently seeking to recruit the above position.
Qualified candidate should be able to do manage and develop Removals, Events, Exhibition and Hotel Logistics products, optimize business processes and resources in line with customer requirements and organisation operating procedures. Achieve and exceed financial, administrational and operational targets
General tasks
- Manage the packing & relocation operations team
- Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
- Supervise survey management and prepare proposals and quotations
- Ensure on time invoicing
- Manage blue collar staff and relocation vehicles
- Manage and develop distribution plan of blue collar staff according to business demand and optimize route planning
- Supervise and Develop Exhibition and Hotel Logistics and manage operations
- Manage key accounts
- Coordinate staff between departments
- Manage the P/L of the department in line with SOP’s and Targets
- Ensure transparent and ontime reporting
- Ensure financial transparency at all times
- Motivate and Develop operations team
Skills
Education
- Bachelor degree in Business or Administration
Required competencies and experiences
- Minimum of 5Years Experience in a management role within the Kenyan Removals/Exhibition industry
- General Management experience
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office
- Good analytical skills
- Strong ability to structure complex problems
- Good skills in presenting and communicating action plans
- Fluent in English, spoken and written. Swahili is a plus
- Result driven
