Class 3 Teacher Wanted Urgently- Readvertisement
Our client is a Christian school.
They provide each student with a broad and balanced education in a safe, Christian and supportive environment.
They need someone who is a born again christian since they will be required to conduct daily devotions with the children and attend/ be given responsibility to preach or do praise and worship in the teachers devotion. All applicants should be able to provide a reference letter from their church.
Please note that you must be born again in order to be considered for this position.Teacher will be required to teach class 3 ( 8.4.4) system and perform deputy head teacher duties from time to time.
Job Description
- Provide day to day supervision and support to the primary school teachers(2) and come up with a plan to grow the primary wing of the school.(we will be adding one class every year) supervise children during all activities and maintain communication with the Head teacher.
- Communicate with the parents in consultation with the head teacher.
- Maintain records on each child’s progress and development.
- Responsible for recording and record keeping of information required to document the growth and development of children.
- Attend all staff meetings.
- Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of self
Qualifications
- P1 certificate is a MUST.
- At least 2 yrs teaching experience
- Ability to relate positively to young children, parents and staff.
- Demonstrate success in working as a member of a team.
- Effective and strong communication skills (orally and written).
- Demonstrate supervision skills.
- Leadership and management skills
