Job Title: Aluminum Welder

Salary: Kshs 17,500K gross
We are recruiting for a company that specializes in the manufacturing and installation of steel structures, lighting, customized fabrication and developing sign technology for the African market.
They specialize in the production of signages for the petrol stations, Banks, automotive and petrol retail sectors. They seek to hire a welder with Aluminium metal welding experience
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction
- Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques.
- Inspect and test cuts and joins, using precision measuring instruments, such as a micrometer
- Operate semi-automatic spot-welding equipment (often found on high volume production lines like car manufacturing).
- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
- Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.
- Carry out repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery when need arises
- Follow safety policies procedures as outlined by the company
- Meet company standards in terms of quality
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Qualifications
- Minimum KSCE Certificate
- At least 2 years of experience in the field
- Must knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, equipments and procedures in welding and manufacturing
- Can work under immediate supervision
