Digital Manager


Introduction

Reporting to the Head of Operations. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and growing digital business in line with the digital strategy by working with internal and external stakeholders towards product development, marketing, sales growth and relationships management.


He/she is also accountable for specific project(s) and responsible for the achievement of the set business targets


Old Mutual IT Job Minimum Requirements



  • Relevant degree in Business with ICT qualifications or ICT background with strong business development and growth within related industries.

  • 5 – 6 years appropriate experience in dealing with digital channels within banking, telecommunication and related roles.

  • Experience in developing and driving digital business strategy and execution.

  • Be able to effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation, using strong communication, project management and organizational skills.

  • Retail, Consumer marketing or sales background or proven knowledge of digital consumer selling channels

  • Possess a personal passion for marketing, customer relationship, technology, partners and satisfaction.

  • Negotiation and influencing skills that gain successful outcomes for the company

  • High levels of energy, drive, creativity and innovation

  • Demonstrate excellent presentation and negotiation skills

  • Organized, analytical and computer literate.

  • Self-motivated and self-driven individual with prospective personal development within the company.


Job Specification of the IT Job in Kenya



  • To drive the digital business products development, sales and relationship management with the implementation partners.

  • Working with the various internal and external parties to ensure synergy creation and growth of the digital products offering

  • To Assess options and propose solutions in cooperation with line management.

  • To identify continuous improvement projects through root cause problem solving and managing the analysis, design and implementation of projects through multi-functional teams, including stakeholder management.

  • Responsible for the identification and qualification of opportunities to maximise revenue.

  • To compile customer value proposition as well as business model for entry into identified markets.

  • To conducts research and assist in developing a suitable response and viability assessments of a range of potential solutions.

  • To develop business case for new initiatives, which include all business imperatives such as systems and other resources, distribution models, marketing plans etc.

  • To ensure that the approved solution is effectively implemented and refined over the medium term after initial launch.

  • To draft service level agreements with service providers and ensure compliance thereof.

  • To ensure integration of new business opportunities with existing initiatives within the business.

  • To build relationships and networks with external stakeholders and potential alliances.

  • To conduct presentations to introduce new initiatives and ensure buy-in.

  • Any other duties that may be allocated by management from time to time.
