AA Lodges Marketing Job Description
- Responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet the objectives of the company; Marketing company products and services to the right market and demonstrating technical marketing skills and the knowledge of the product and existing and potential customers.
Duties:
- Working closely and together as a team to enable meet objectives and targets.
- Ensure building and maintaining strong customer relationships through customer satisfaction surveys.
- Understanding existing and potential customers and research and report the external opportunities.
- Evaluate customer research, market condition competitor data and implement market plans as needed.
- Responsible for internal employee growth and schedule orientation of new employees in the department and update employees regularly on new and upcoming units.
- Keep the director informed by submitting activity and results reports; daily, weekly and monthly analysis.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of lodge brands, programs and services.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Recommend changes in products, servicesand policies by evaluating results and competitive development.
- Responsible for managing events as needed as adhere to budgets.
- Monitor competition by gathering current market place information on rates, products, new services and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate the demand for the company products and services as well as competitors’ and use information to find new markets for the company.
- Responsible for assigning marketing executives various tasks and ensuring they meet set deadlines.
- Develop the marketing strategy for new and existing lodges.
- Identify, develop and evaluate marketing strategy based on knowledge of establishment objectives and market characteristics.
- Development of the company brand consisting of visuals, logo, company image and create a brand that align with the organization mission statement.
- Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team.
- Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
- Gather and analyze customer insight
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecast to achieve corporate objectives for the company lodges.
- Ensure effective control of marketing results and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
- Meet with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
- Directing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordingly.
- Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Skills and Qualifications for Marketing Kenyan Jobs
- Bachelors’ degree in a relevant field
- Approximately 5 yearsin Marketing in Hospitality. Having worked in a lodge will be an added advantage
- Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
- Strong understanding of customer and marketing dynamics and requirements.
- Be respectful, passionate about achieving and continuous improvement
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Be flexible, adopt to different working environments and systems
- Be excellent in use of computerized systems.
- Excellent Communication skills.
