Change Manager Specialist – (Contract)


Our client is in the financial services sector and is a leading multinational long-term savings, protection and investment group with over 150 years of operations in Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia and supported by over 50,000 employees serving over 15 million customers.


The company has opportunity for qualified, experienced and talented individual to fill the following position.


Dorbe-Leit Job Purpose/Summary


Leading a very large change management project that cuts across the whole organization. The role will develop an integrated change plan and is individually accountable for the execution of the plan over periods of 1-2 years. This is a contract position.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Research and implement best practices for change management on the change project.

  • Identify and analyses the change impact for the overall project.

  • Develop the integrated change strategy and plan.

  • Establish a sponsorship plan and on-board sponsors.

  • Develop the change brand.

  • Develop the communications or ensures that the Segment communications team develop the communications plan.

  • Develop the stakeholder engagement plan.

  • Develop the training plan based on a detailed needs assessment.

  • Develop the team development plan.

  • Establish the appropriate change methodology, practices and templates.

  • Identify the change agent network, on-boards change agents and continuously maintains the change agent network

  • Execute on the change strategy and plans.

  • Measure the effectiveness of change interventions on a continuous basis and through the change agent network take corrective actions.

  • Ensure that stakeholders execute on their roles in the change plan.

  • Ensure that post-go live support is available.

  • Identify, manages and mitigates change management risks and issues.

  • Manage the change budget.

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Develops the stakeholder engagement plan.


Minimum Requirements for the Dorbe-Leit Job



  • Relevant Degree in Business

  • Over 4 years experience in leading a large Change Management program

  • Ability to handle complex change integrations

  • Previous exposure to merger & acquisition integration change experience

  • Multiple country change experience

  • Knowledge of the Prosci® ADKAR® Model. Accreditation of the same is highly desired.

  • Personal Effectiveness

  • Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.

  • Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 3months to a year.

  • Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.

  • Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.

  • Accepts and lives the company values.

Salary Budget: Kshs. 350,000 Gross
